After every visit, our housekeeper cleans the house and washes the linens. When gone from the property, please lock the house. Although crime is not common, it is best to be safe. Screen doors- Please KEEP CLOSED and if bugs are bad, spray screens with Raid or some other bug spray.
Do Not make a fire on the beach or elsewhere on the property. Please NO FIRES on the beach or property. Use the BBQ on the patio at the house. Don’t leave the TRASH outside. Leave it in the bin next to the laundry room.
Trash
You may take trash to the dump. The dump is on the way to Governor’s Harbor. Go back to Queen’s Highway (main road), turn right (N). Go Approx. 1 mile-turn right into dump’s main road (can be easily missed).
Insects
Mosquitoes come out at dusk. OFF or any spray with deet works best. At the beach, the breeze keeps them away and during the day the sun and wind eliminate the problem. If you are dining outside, burning a can of sterno will keep flies off the food.
